The Youth Ministry at Saint Francisville United Methodist Church has the goal of seeing young people come to know, love, and cherish Jesus Christ. Everything that we do and plan is done to create an atmosphere of grace to allow us to begin looking into just who Jesus is and to learn more about what He has planned for us throughout of lives. Our Youth Ministry has three avenues of engagement. The Forge, High School Nights, and Sunday School.
The Forge meets on Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 7:00 for dinner, games, and a bible lesson. The Forge’s purpose is to focus on reaching and engaging middle school aged youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the intentional involvement in the lives of our middle school youth. While the Forge is geared towards middle school students, it is open to all students 6th through 12th grade.
High School Nights are the area of our Youth Ministry that focuses on reaching and engaging high school aged youth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We meet on Sunday Nights from 6:00 to 7:30 for studying, worship, the occasional meal, and Bible Study. Its purpose is to intentionally pour into the lives of high school students whilst preparing them for life after high school.
Sunday School meets on Sunday Mornings at 9:45 in the Youth Room which is located upstairs in the Rob House. We gather for a snack and play games such as foosball or ping pong. We then study God’s word together. This area of ministry is for both middle and high school students.
